Schäfer Thieme Produktion (D)
The Princess and the Pea
Duration: 60 minutes
Once upon a time, there was a prince who wanted to marry a princess. But it had to be a real princess. So he travelled all over the world to find one, but wherever he looked there was always something missing. Of course, there were enough princesses, but he could never find out if they were real princesses. Every time, there was something not quite right… A fateful night of events for young Prince Albert and the beautiful Princess from far away.
The Princess and the Pea is one of H. C. Andersen’s most famous fairy tales. It tells a story of the probably most important thing in the world: the search for love, happiness, and the right person at one’s side.
Lively dialogues, a pointed way of playing and a rapid change of scene make Andersen's fairy tale an entertaining hour for the whole family.
