This was the 2026 Festival!

Dear audience, who joined us for this wonderful, intense, and inspiring week from 12 to 19 March, and dear future audience!

One festival is now behind us, and the next is already in the works. This time, we are entering the programme planning process with an especially fresh sense of energy. We owe this energy to you!

With an increase in audience numbers of around 5% and a capacity rate of 72% with 4,400 visitors during the festival week, we see this as an encouraging confirmation of our work and of the programme we selected. 

Our heartfelt thanks therefore go to you: for being there, for your applause, for the great atmosphere, for stimulating conversations, for positive feedback, but also for criticism. In the festival review, you can relive the festival week once again while enjoying Reinhard Winkler’s atmospheric photographs.

We are moving into the planning phase and hope that you will remain loyal to us and join us again from 11 to 18 March 2027. The new programme will traditionally be available online from Christmas onward. Ticket reservations will begin in mid-January 2027.
