Franziskus Gymnasium Wels
The city center becomes an exhibition space

INNENSTADT WELS
June 13th to June 20th, 2024

Large wooden figures, created by students of the Franziskus Gymnasium Wels, await you in front of the festival venues.

With the project titled "My standpoint/our standpoint," the festival provides the students with space and a stage to "take heart" and address their concerns in public space. To make them visible through the means of visual art, to raise questions, to provoke, to stimulate, to communicate. The project takes place in memoriam Meinrad Mayerhofer, who provided ideas and designs years ago, which unfortunately can only now be implemented after his untimely death.
